13 months and walking!

We are in trouble...

Everett took his first step on February 21st.  We were at Andy's bosses house for a work get together.  One of Andy's coworkers was giving his little daughter some puffs and Everett just let go and took a step to get a puff.  Of course it was for food.  Then he stood free in the middle of the living room for about 30 seconds before effortlessly lowering himself down to a crawl.  He still prefers crawling because he can get there so much faster but his balance is getting better everyday.  He always has a huge grin on this face when he walks to you and gets so excited he tends to lunge at you instead of just taking those last couple steps.

On Valentine's Day Everett sprouted 2 more teeth.  Up to 8 now!

Our bike trailer has arrived!  We've had many 60 degree days
and needed a new stroller anyways.  So far everyone loves it!

My little outside boy

My tulips are up so Everett helped me weed the flower bed.

Had a hard time getting him to come inside.  

Love this little boy.  He's so much fun but never stops moving!

Everett stuff...

- Still drooling like crazy.  We go through at least 3 bibs a day.  

- He's loving pretzels and rice cakes right now

- Loving the sippy and whole milk

- Eats better at daycare and naps better at home

- Transitioned himself to a 7pm bedtime which has been amazing.  He gets to eat dinner with us and we get to see him a little more.  Now he wakes up at 7am.  

- Still 2 naps a day usually.  About 1.5 hours each.

- His line of sight has gotten much higher.  He wants to see over counters and bookshelves and can get into the 3rd highest drawers in the kitchen now.

- Daily empties our kitchen utensil drawer.  But he must lick each one and then throws it on the ground before going back for a new one.  

- Testing out more sounds.  He's started saying v's and t's.  No new words besides mama, dada and ba :)

- 23.4 lbs (54%) and 31.1 inches (82%) at his 12 month appt!  Very tall little boy!

Almost forgot Everett's 1 year professional pictures!  They turned out amazing!  Everett did as good as can be expected from this little busy body.  Once he found the puppies gated downstairs we struggled to keep him in one spot but we still managed to get some good ones.

Getting squrimy

Thoroughly enjoying the spring weather and getting to ski as well!  Matt, Cassie and Molly Yehl were here this past weekend visiting and we were able to ski Alta and managed to get sunburned.  Looking forward to spending lots of time outside with Mr. E!
